I have a old website in classic ASP which I am migrating to IIS 8.5, everything works fine in one site (as in the old one) but when I wan to take advantage of the IIS 8.5 for several certificates and websites using a single IP , I got this error. The error is Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01ad' ActiveX component can't create object It works in the full domain name URL, and fails in the short named one. Both are using the same application pool allowing 32 bit apps. the component is softartisans fileup in case someone had issues like that before. Is it there any setting in IIS that restrict the use of components ? I have already changed the flag in the site's ApplicationPool configuration (IIS Manager-><Server name>->Application Pools-><Classic ASP Pool>->Advanced Settings): "Enable 32-bit Applications" >>True. |
