Custom error page IIS 6.2

I have a site running on Windows Server 2012 that has both classic asp pages  and some .net applications.

For the classic asp pages I had a custom error page set up that would email me a message with the error and inform the user that we were working on the issue.     After I added the .net applications to the domain I noticed that they were also sending me an email but could not tell me the error (I expected that they could not tell me the error but did not expect the email).    I have no idea what I changed but I got it to no longer send me emails on the .net errors   but now my custom error messages for classic asp stopped working.   then to make matters worse it is not being recorded in the failed request log file.

Is there some way to get this working so that it will email me on classic asp errors (95% of the code is in classic asp)  and not send me emails on the .net applications that run under that domain
